I'm looking to simplify my set-up with a nice integrated.  Must have remote, prefer SS, prefer w/ DAC

Some models I have looked at and would consider are Hegel H300, MW KWI-200, Pass INT-150. Offers for comparable integrated amps welcomed.

Only interested to trade/partial trade and not outright purchase.

Some items I have for trade include:
- Tube Research Lab TRL Dude preamp
- Bryston BDA-1 DAC
- Modwright Transporter
- McIntosh MC275 tube amp
- dcs 954 DAC (pro version of the dcs Elgar)
- Stereoknight Silverstone TVC remote passive pre

The Bel Canto C5I or C7R are fantastic sounding pieces. Might give them a look. I have heard both and they are very resolving and musical pieces with plenty of grunt.

You could help by clarifying what you consider a "high end" budget.

At the highest end, I would suggest looking for a Vitus integrated or DarTZeel CTH 8550.  At a mid-to-high level, you should consider the SimAudio EVOLUTION Series 700i Integrated Amplifier.

There's currently a nice Modwright KWI200 on audiogon. It has a internal dac and phonostage as well ...and its in your price range. No affiliation with MW or the seller on A'gon.


The Hegel H300 just received the TAS golden ear award and looks pretty sweet too, but is a little higher than your budget. Also no affiliation with Hegel.

do you need any analog inputs???  if not I have a Lyngdorf TDAi2200 integrated I would consider selling/trading.  an analog card can be purchased from Lyngdorf for  @ $500 and is plug and play

I would be most interested in the StereoKnight passive as partial trade
