Rawson Aleph J Clone - SOLD

SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD  :thumb:

Second owner of this Rawson Aleph J clone. I purchased it from someone who is friendly with Rawson in Chicago (so I'm told) and some premium parts were added; bigger transformer, better binding posts, etc. (the XLR shorting pins are included). Nelson said it’s the best Aleph & having owned an original Aleph 30, I concur; it truly sounds great (ESPECIALLY for the price). It looks good for a DIY unit, too. Power cord not included. Check my feedback on A’gon: stlblue.

Fairly priced at $450, plus shipping (40 lbs from 63116). Check is fine, but won’t ship until it clears.

How many watts per channel is this and is it class a all the time or does it switch to a/b at some point.?

also would you say this is a quiet amp as in black backround or does it have any hum at all?

My speakers are 104.5 db sensitive so i need very quiet amp, had a pass aleph 30 and it was great, am thinking of giving this a try to compare it to the aleph 30.
thanks.

25 watts pure class a. If I stick my ear to my 94 db speakers, there is a very light hum. I can't hear anything at my nearfield listening position. I had an original Aleph 30; this is better. Only reason I'm selling is because a friend of mine is building me an over-the-top Aleph J (way more expensive). If I didn't have this opportunity, I would happily live with this one.

Forgot to mention, power cord not included.

What is the dimensions of the chassis?  Mostly interested in the height of the chassis
Does this unit run hot to touch?

6" tall
17" wide
10.5 deep

It's pure class a. Can you keep your hands on the heat sinks? Yes, but it's hot.
