This was my first high end piece of electronics, purchased in the summer of 2000. The only real problem with it is, 1 of the XLR connections has no output now for some reason. Also, the volume knob is not perfectly centered, and never has been, I never bothered to take it off and re-center it. Also, at some point I took the cover off, but did not put the screws back on the cover, the cover is on, but I lost the screws, I have yet to see if I can get some more from Classe. But, last time I used it it worked just fine, nice machined aluminum front and heavy aluminum remote, which is the only thing that shows wear, because, well, it's a remote, and the letters have faded with time, but are still readable, and as an extra bonus, you can beat off an attacker with the remote
