But that last bit can and does act as an interference antenna, both receiving and transmitting.

But so can all the wiring in the house? Romex isn't very well insulated compared to a 4 figure power cord.

True, but neither is Romex® a very good high frequency transmission line,  plus much of the interference is coming from nearby audio components.

Using Wywires Juice 14 gauge on my 14Bsst2.

I have a Transparent PowerWave 8 handling power conditioning. Its plugged into my wall. All my audio equipment is plugged into the PowerWave 8. I have only changed out cables from the conditioner to my equipment. I presume that accounts for why I can hear a change, despite hundreds of miles of power cable before the power gets to my house.

Using Wywires Juice 14 gauge on my 14Bsst2.

Also using an Ultralink that is remarkable good for under 200 bucks.
