Real Traps Diffusors

Ethan, thanks for clarifying about adding more bass trapping behind your diffusors.
I had thought that even though your RT's have some built in,that the bass couldn't go thru, which as you said the fabric behind won't stop bass so adding 6" panels behind(which I did)helps a lot.

Thanks Mitch, glad my advice was useful. Even though RealTraps diffusers are "made of bass trap material," adding yet more bass trapping behind can only help. I have MondoTraps behind two of the four diffusers in my living room.

Got off the phone with James, ordered four Mondo HF panels(fat)2X4X6 to experiment with my 1st wall reflections.
Have four Q7d's there now,but I seem to remember with some mag 3.6's and 242's there I was getting a very life like sound(3D ish)if you will.I have to try these out just to here :o the difference ,friggin pricey just to have a listen, all in fun though :thumb:.
Have two sets of speakers,3.7's(two channel)and Revel 50a's(HT),I remove one set if I'm watching movies or listening to two channel as the room is only 12X19X7 which opens to a hall/stairwell,actually I'll post a pict :duh:::,

Wish she was a tad bigger(The room ,I really like 235.1 compared to 16X9 even with zooming it's more immersive.
I have tri's double stacked in the front, plus soffit traps above and below the screen.2X242's on ceiling which has Roxull S+S in the joists 10".Actually this room sound very good compared to some way bigger room(3X the size)I have heard even with double drywall.
The short left ceiling wall has soffit traps( pict above )as well as the right side:
