I'm looking at that blinding little sucker, and it doesn't look like it would hurt anything to remove it.  Anyone done this?  Can anyone talk me thru it or advise me?

Others have said it takes a Dremel to get it open!  Why not take an exacto and cut out a circle of black duct tape?  I don't think the light puts out much heat.  I only played with my PW for two weeks before I got other devices so the light wasn't on long enough to become an issue.

My P-wave is connected to my PC, which is in my bedroom.  I never turn the amp off, and despite the fact that I've covered the blue dome with black tape, plus put some tape around  unused jacks, enough light still shines out of the case to nearly read by!  :o   It's too damned bright and the case has to many openings.  I've got the case open and the light doesn't seem like it would be to hard to remove, but I don't want to break anything.

Rob,if you turn the amp off and wait for the LED to go out,you should be to just clip the wires to it and insulate them from one another with electrical tape so that they don't short out.  This would eliminate your night light problem.
