Godzilla... :green:

Oh boy, I don't want to be "that guy", but I don't think Godzilla is an alien either. I believe Godzilla is created from the fallout of radiation from a hydrogen bomb that "mixes" with a dinosaur.

Again, please correct me if I'm wrong.

I watched this tonight. Not so great, but will say it did have a classic WWF/E style fight mid way through. Ha!

They Live (with Roddy Piper) is actually kinda creepy and has a decent story line / premise. It is somewhat of a cult classic.

Aside from the obvious classics like Alien, Aliens, Predator, etc. a couple of quirky, yet very fun choices are, Mars Attacks and Galaxy Quest.

Can K-Pax make it to the list?

I am a huge alien and sci fi buff but the one movie that really stands out is District 9. It is one of the few movies where you end up on the side of the aliens, and they are not even cute or cool looking.

All those mentioned movies are great and on my list, but if your watching  all alone and have one that will give you a chill down the spine, I think Signs with Mel Gibson and Gladiator guy, I can't spell his name, is one that really does it......more intense without really knowing what the Alien looks like, only a quick glimpse until the end...minimal computer graphics, like the older movies even though fairly modern....Mark Korda

Invaders From Mars, 1953, terrified me as a kid.  Nightmares for weeks.  There was a remake in 1986, never saw it.
