Morons From Outer Space

A complete spoof of the genre, and of humans

+1. :thumb:   Rowdy Roddy Piper at his best, plus one of the best fist-fight scenes ever recorded!

Dark City

They Live

Mars Attacks

The Man Who Fell to Earth

The Last Star Fighter

Now that's a list.  :thumb: Adding in the previous Day The Earth Stood Still & Forbidden Planet covers a sizeable number of my favorites. One fun one I always enjoy is The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai, Across the 8th Dimension. Note that the sunglasses that allow you to see the aliens in They Live, do not work on the Lectroids.    :D

Will also throw in Quartermass & The Pit, originally released as Five Million Years to Earth 1968.     Those pesky Martians at it again.

Another classic from the eighties...The Hidden

SOFT SPOILER ALERT--A violent alien with a thing for rockn roll, Ferrari's and hot chicks.  8)

NIGHTFALL1970

The Hidden was excellent and the alien loves one of my favorite metal bands Pretty Maids!

Forbidden Planet is impossible to top!

Dark Skies was pretty cool.

The Thing (1982) remake of The Thing from another world (1951) both are fantastic!

Invasion of the body snatchers (1956)

Would have felt like self promotion.     I tend to prefer the BBC original release, though the newer version is very good & they left the door open for sequels as they never made it to Milliways, The Restaurant at The End of The Universe, nor did they answer 'The' question. It was fun to see the original Marvin, and 'Arthur' in the new one.  :thumb:

Invasion of the body snatchers (1956)

Two more classics.  :thumb:  Must give Carpenter credit, not usually a fan of remakes, but he did a very good job with The Thing. The 'Invasion' remake was pretty good too.
Ok, some classic SciFi trivia - who played the alien in The Thing From Another Planet ?

James Arness - the man eating vegetable.

One of my favorites, the dopey, but scary, Killer Clowns from Outer Space.
