These craft store wooden eggs make a nice phase plug for the Beta 12LTA. I counter sunk two additional screws and the magnetic attraction holds them in place.

Here's a link for the Realistic tweeters. The one shown is not the same as my 40-1310A. The external pod enclosure is the same on all of them. Sometimes you can find these for a few bucks at flea markets but on ebay they go for a lot more. They sound excellent removed from the pod and used in open baffles.

The Beta with wooden egg phase plug. Peavey tweeters shown here were replaced by the Realistics.
Another member here swapped his B200's for the Betas and felt it was a significant upgrade. I hope he reads this and responds.
