Hey Don,

Not sure if you are interested but I've got a nice Dual 1229 with a Shure CV9E cart. It has the United Audio base with the flip down front. The base is in nice condition but could use a little polish. It also has the smoked plastic dust cover. It's OK but it has the usual scuffs. It's actually a nice sounding table and works just fine. Probably the best in the Dual line up over the years.

If you check the completed listings on eBay, they're going for $175 to $300. I'd let you have it for $100 if you're interested.

I would part with my project debut 3 for 250.  I would throw in a yaqin ms-12 for 500.  I am looking for an upgrade anyway.

The Project Essential or Debut III is $299 w/ Ortofon OM5e new.  Somehow I thought I saw it at $250 even.

But if you can stretch to $399 you can get a Pro-ject Carbon w/ a nice Ortofon 2M red.  W/ free shipping maybe the stretch is not so far......The carbon w/ 2M is IMHO a substantial jump up from the Debut / OM5e. All new - so no worries on condition (or shipping damage & you have ability to return if dissatisfied).
