Designed by Troels Gravesen for low watt tube amps, 95dB/2.83/1m, 6ohm min, mid driver and woofers each have their own rear loaded horns inside the box. Full range, non-fatiguing, detailed, dynamic. Great for late night listening. The drivers can be used in several of his other DIY designs. These are currently unfinished birch veneer with dark tone and beautiful grain. I can finish them for you for a fee.

Audition and pick up in NC, or I can ship safely by freight at buyers expense. The unassembled kit shipped from Poland costs $1300, woofers $600, cabinet materials $300, couple hundred hours of build and tuning, priceless! First $1500 takes it.  Cash, check, paypal OK.

Haha - know exactly what you are talking about.

Built a couple speakers myself but always end up selling (at a huge loss) to move on to the next project.

However, the DTQWT are well respected - never heard them - but can't imagine one doing any better then these (especially at your asking price).

I'd love to listen to them - if only I was closer

I'm sure I will miss them, they make very satisfying listening. I won't be upset if they don't sell, but I try not to second guess my decision to sell and move on to the next project, which in my mind are supposed to be "even better." Another step toward my fantasy of becoming a competent speaker designer.

I never did build any of Troels loudspeakers but he has many designs I like. I'm still using my MTM 4 box system. Hopefully next year I'll finish my second push/pull bass cabinet. Loudspeaker building is a lot of work but its really rewarding.
