A Dynakit ST70, with the trannies with the cloth leads. It has already had one round of upgrades: new wiring, five-way binding posts, high-quality RCA jacks, nice thick power cord, maybe some caps, but it's been so long I don't remember. And it comes with a kit to do a complete board update (and, I think, replace some other parts): new board and all first-quality parts (MIT MusiCap, Mallory, some French caps that don't have a name on them, Holco resistors, etc.). Nice quad of Sovtek EL34WXTs, the very desirable RCA 7199s, and a brand-new Sovtek 5AR4.

This is intended for someone who knows his way around a schematic and a soldering iron. I don't. I've been meaning for years to have the work done, but I've moved on, or down, to weeny SETs, so it's time to put this in the hands of a solder-slinger who knows what he's doing and who wants to stuff and install the new board and put in the other parts.

All in all, in lovely condition for its age. Very minor signs of rust in a couple places, a little pinpoint pitting, but if you look at the photos, you'll see it's in very, very nice shape, with lettering intact. Small discoloration spot on top of cage and a bit of paint missing from one corner on top (see photo), but again in very good shape. With copy of manual.

I bought the upgrade kit from a guy as complete, so assume all the bits are there (I think you can make out the parts list if you enlarge the photo), but I ain't no techie. Please note that I'm selling everything as is. A bag of small resistors slipped off when I was taking the photos, but it'll be included.

There may be nicer examples of this classic amp out there, but I don't think there are many.

$550, plus shipping and Paypal.

PS: I have a couple pairs of what look like NIB RCA 7199s, which I'll sell for $60 a pair. I also have an additional cage, which has a dent on top, but I'll sell that for $35 plus shipping if someone's looking for a replacement.
