Up for sale is my Eastern Electric Minimax Plus DAC. This DAC has received numerous rave reviews and is no stranger to these forums. I can post or send pictures later or by request, but the DAC is basically in like-new condition. Cosmetically this would be 10/10. Gently used for a little over a year.

An awesome and fun DAC, with it's ability to switch between tube and solid state output. If you read up on it more on these forums, you'll see there is a lot of information on tube and opamp rolling for this one, if your inclined to go that route. In my case, I mainly used the tube output. I would be including the stock 12AU7 plus one additional tube, which is a 50s vintage NOS RCA blackplate 12AU7 (recommended to me by the distributor that sells these DACs in the US), so you could do just a bit of tube rolling if you like right from the get-go.

Bladesmith- I believe the model you are showing there is the original EE Minimax Dac, and not the 'Plus' version. The easy way to tell the 'Plus' is that the front only has one knob (it has done away with the volume control knob).

Hi,

I've just bought an Eastern Electric Minimax Dac Plus which is being shipped this week.  I've also ordered new opamps to swap out.  From all that I've read this is a stellar dac for the price.  Good luck on the sale.
