Listening Session Saturday, 7/27

Hey guys, time to launch the Nimbus for the local guys! How about listening this Saturday, noon to whenever? If you need directions, PM me here and I'll send them. Bring beer or other booze if you want it, otherwise we'll have food and drink.

Big room downstairs will be the Nimbus and BMC gear, upstairs will be a 'speaker to be named later' although I'm thinking it'll be something special as well ... along with some Single Ended tubes and my first starter turntable setup.

I should be able to make it. I would be happy to bring some food or drink -- let me know if there is something specific that you think might be needed or helpful.

I can't make it on Saturday but you can certainly use my last name on the new speaker. Not sure, but I think Tim meant "oralgraphic Blackmore edition". Has a strangely compelling ring to it

Glad you can come Bernie, was planning to give you a ring if you didn't see this post.

I don't think there's anything specific needed to bring. The lovely wife is planning to whip up some food options for us all. If you want to bring something however, go ahead.

I will ask for some help in setting up my turntable from anybody who possesses the requisite knowledge. I think I got the weight set correctly using my reloading scale, but the other adjustments like VTA and anti-skate, I have no idea how to measure and adjust.

The launch will commence at 7pm

Wives are welcome too, Heather will be here. And with high temps Saturday of about 80 with no humidity, will be a perfect day for wine on the deck.

Yep, noon or there-abouts.

Feel free anybody to bring music. Flac or Wav on a thumb drive or hard drive would be perfect, and I can even spin vinyl now!
