Joe Bonomassa to the rescue

I got my bass and mid panels back from a rewire at maggy. Total cost with shipping was about $250. I built a crate so I could just send the panels


First playing was a shock it was simply unlistenable. I felt I mad a mistake and was about to put my other (which I rewired myself) pack in. But then since I had never owned new speakers before and remembering guys talking about break in.  So I put on Joes live album and cranked it up.  It was just fascinating to listen on how the sound changes over time. After about 5 songs everything started to come together.  Just amazing.
So I am probably into this about 20 hours and everyday when I go down to listen it seems better.

You can really drive yourself crazy right off the bat; try to do what I DON'T do and just leave everything alone for around 100 hours.
Easier said that done!

Guilty as charged.
I've decided to take the day off and raise my 3.7s up off of the ground a little bit.
The 3.7s are too short, the 20.7s are too tall, my wife rolls her eyes and goes to a friend's house to escape the carnage.
Nothing like deciding on a nice construction project on the hottest day of the year...
