Here is a new ultrasonic vinyl cleaner.
Key differences to the other one are:
* uses distilled water only;
* no brushes or drying pads.
Here is the link: http://klaudio.com/
Looks really interesting.

Wow i am liking the look of this one, it has a lower running cost compared to the Audio Desk Systeme.
I was looking into getting the Audio Desk Systeme as i currently have the Loricraft PRC3.

If this one does what they say, it look like a better option to the Audio Desk Systeme.

I have the Audio Desk Systeme and it works great. I've cleaned more than 50 records in two weeks.

Yes the Audio Desk Systeme was the one i was interested in to replace my Loricraft, but the running cost of the Audio Desk did put me off a bit. I think if this KL Audio ones does what is claims, it looks like a better option.

It does look like a nice unit and I like the idea of not having a lot of moving parts and brushes to replace. I kept my Loricraft to use to pre-clean any really dirty records. I wonder if they are going to be at CAF or RMAF. I would like to see one in operation.

See diyaudio forum.  Read the thread My version of an Ultrasonic Record Cleaner.  This is the most detailed information anywhere on the subject..  Building or buying an ultrasonic cleaner is more complicated than you think.  That is why it cost so much unless you build it yourself.

The price is not what bothers me, but the running cost of the Audio Desk Systeme.

The point of most cleaning fluid is to get rid of the mold release compound which was applied during the pressing of the LP, in addition to the usual dirt, mold, mildew, etc. Are they suggesting that their version of the ultrasonic vibration alone will get rid of this as well? I am a little skeptical. I believe that is the reason why Audio Desk's machine still require using this type of solution.

How could the price of both just "happen" to be 4000 dollars?

If you are in Europe and buy it in Euros it’s €2299 or $3118.

The KLAudio looks like a cheaper option since the running cost is lower.
