In honor of Sturgus' natal day , Mark is coming over from Alton with his freshly built 6B4G monoblocs, and we will take them for a spin on the Altec Model 19s.

At the pre-party, Eric, Liam, and Liam chose to rock out to some Black Sabbath!

Joe, Roger, and Mark were the early birds to the worm, and Ken made it later. We heard an outstanding set of 6BG4 push pull amps, so kudos to Mark for a great build!

These suckers take up some real estate, but give it back with spades of wonderful tone, timbre, and musical air for about 8 watts a side.





And under the skirt reveals a very serious and ordered build.

Damn, I missed another one.   Spent too much time on airplanes over the past three months - I've been out of circulation too long !! 

When is the next listening party ?  I need to hear some fine toobs !!!
