Sold: Selah Audio Tempestas- Mint-
« on: 13 Jul 2013, 12:22 am »
I'm reluctantly offering my incredible pair of Selah Tempestas for sale. The Tempesta is Selah Audio's best selling model, yet to my knowledge none have ever been re-sold.
These have some of the finest and most expensive drivers available from Raal, Accuton, and Scanspeak Illuminator, expertly matched, in beautiful, solid, well damped cabinets. The drivers alone list for nearly $2000. They offer the best performance and looks on the market for this size and price I know of, bar none.
This pair has the stunning Pau Ferro (Bolivian rosewood) veneer ($1000 upcharge), all cut from one sheet of veneer and expertly grain matched on all sides. This is the pair pictured on the Selah Audio website. They are 2 years old and are in absolutely mint, as-new condition. No scratches, marks, or dings anywhere, including the bottoms. Grills are also perfect.
I love these speakers, and I know the next owner will consider themselves lucky to have them, as I have.
Buyer pays shipping, I'll pick up Paypal fees, if any.
Thanks for having a look, and good listening!

Surprised that you are selling these, based upon all the seller comments you have made. I have the tower version, and agree on how well these speakers are built and sound.

I don't think these will last too long , before someons grabs them. Good luck!!

It was a tough decision. I got a great price on some Daedalus RMa (twice the size and price, when new). My wife likes them equally well, but the large woofers load the bass in my difficult room better.
I'd love to keep them, but hey would be pretty pricey bedroom speakers.
It appears they may be sold.

When the Trading Post Guide says "Do not erase the ad.  Old ads help other sellers set a selling price.", I think the intent was also to not delete the price information from the ad either.

In this particular case, because the price was in the post title as well, the titles from other member's posts could not be modified by the OP which still read "Re: FS: Selah Audio Tempestas- mint $3000 firm".
