$1600. $1,100.  Purchased August 2010; Unplugged since April 2012 when system was upgraded. Original owner; Has XLR Out option; Condition 9+/10.  If you’re familiar with this German audio line, you know it’s built like a tank with an eye to sonics.  Purchase price was $3,610. No remote.

A great sounding preamp , for a great prize , unfortunately totally under the US radar as is the whole T+A line . Hyped reviews in Europe  , I would buy it immediately , but I'm  looking for the black version ,  aaargh

Totally agree. The entire T+A line is & was a great value and undermarketed for years until Dynaudio took over the distribution rights. I have T+A products in my system. Better value compared to some high end esoteric products. They have been around for more than 30 years.

hi- can remote be added?
I have heard for good things about this preamp but I am looking for a preamp with remote capability.

Is absolutely compatible with a remote. There is a sensor that you can purchase from a T+A dealer that plugs into the back, and it can then be controlled either with a T+A remote (also can be purchased from dealer) or a programmable remote.
