I have recently changed my "Aluminati" speakers out with Selah Verita kits, so these N2X kits must go.

The front baffle is made entirely of aluminum. It measures 1"x8.5"x14". I had it anodized black, the tweeter plate is clear anodized.

This cabinet from parts express would be a great match :)

The kit is already to go, just zip tie the crossover component to a piece of tac board. High quality Sonicaps and Mills resistors were used in the crossover circuit. Use #6 screws to secure it to the speaker cabinet.

Kits, aluminum baffles, anodizing and all the labor involved it well over $1,200.

I am asking $400 shipped.

These are really cool.  I'm amazed by your creativity and skill and Danny's design is first rate.  I bet you could get a much higher price if you sold these as finished speakers with MDF boxes.  Those aluminum baffles you created are so impressive.

Best of luck

Thanks Jack!!

I would love to keep these and make another set of bookies but a tree fell on my truck. Time to start saving for a new car :)

You should not have any trouble selling those nCore amps, especially in those cool cases.  The speakers would sell faster if you had them in cases, even finished MDF cases.

Will your baffles fit PartsExpress cases?  DIY people, IMO, seem to want to get things super cheap, and non-DIY people are often scared off by the prospect of putting something together, even a simple box.

Good luck with the sale.

UPDATE - SOMEONE PLEASE BUY THESE!  THIS IS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME DEAL ON THESE SPEAKERS.  FOR THE MONEY, HOW CAN YOU GO WRONG?

Price drop.

Besides the recessed tweeter, did Danny say anything about the work done to the side of the tweeter on the baffle (rounding over) in terms of changing the sound?

So tempting. That's $70+ less than the kit cost direct from GR Research.

He said it would change the upper freq's but i never heard a change...... But never measured it to actual see if there was a change.

They sound great and the baffles look even better  :thumb:
