I've decided to go ahead and sell my TPA-30's. With permission, below are relevant details of the ad from which I purchased the amps recently. The Thor's are indeed as described and magnificent sounding. The mono amp setup just isn't going to work for me and I don't have the room to store these amps, and someone should be enjoying them!
These are the superb and rare Thor TPA-30 mono blocks offered are in excellent condition. They are beautiful to look at and listen to. They are built around the EL34s, and are designed into Thor's unique, vibration eliminating toroid chassis with all transformers, etc. mounted inside the chassis. Features include fuse replacement, bias adjust controls, and a built-in bias meter. All controls are accessed from the top of the unit for safe, user friendly operation.
There is the type of gear you would want to live with, they sound great and look good too - not an eye sore like the majority of amps out there.
Tubes have lots of life left in them, estimated at less that 1000 hrs on them. Each amp uses two SED EL34 output tubes along with one 12AT7 and one 12BH7A.
Original boxes, foam inserts included.

I believe these amps retailed in the $10,000 range. I've spoken with the individual (Ted Lindblad) that purchased Thor Audio (and has moved the company to Texas)--Ted is a delight to visit with and assured me that he was available for any service that might ever become necessary (and he has ideas for potential cap upgrades, but advised me to enjoy the amps 'as is' for the time being!).
Pics available upon request.
For those who emailed in response to my interest check; please inquire again (rshorb@johnson-jones.com)--we changed email servers 2 weeks ago, and I'm not comfortable that all my archived emails have survived.
Thanks,
Randy
