FS: Daedalus DA-RMas - SOLD

$3500 OBO.

This ad is for a pair of Daedalus Audio DA-RMa speakers, cherry with walnut fronts, built in 2007.
Condition is excellent, with the only substantial imperfections on the *bottom* of the speakers, from contact with the stands.

These speakers are rare used, and a terrific value. They are difficult to beat at any price. Extremely sensitive and dynamic but with absolutely no, zero fatigue or harshness, ever (unlike the vast majority of HE speakers IMO). They are superb at tone, timber, micro-dynamics, and everything that makes acoustic music sound realistic and engaging. They also have some of the most articulate mid-bass I've heard.

See the reviews for these as well as the Ulysses and Athena - the latter is just the RMa with a slightly larger cabinet and all of them share a very similar house sound.

New price is/was $6950 + $300 for the stands.

I do not have the original boxes but they will be very well-packed. Though extremely dense, they are not terribly heavy at about 60 lb each.

Do these have the all poly crossover upgrade?

They don't.  That would put the retail price more like $9500 and they wouldn't be priced where they are.  While the premium parts must make some difference, it's difficult to imagine a speaker much more refined.  I have read the main effect of the poly xover is to make it an easier load, but, they are also already an extremely easy load, it seems, having no volume limits in a huge room with a 25W First Watt F4.
