Listening to Alanis Morissette Live at Montreux.

I couldn't stand her music on the radio back in the 90's. But I heard her on a TV concert and I thought she sounded pretty good with a very good band backing her up.

So when I seen this Blu-ray disc I thought I'd give a try, something different.

This ones Hi-Rez guys 96/24 bit 4.6 mbps in lpcm & dts 5.1 96/24, 7.1 mbps. Sounding pretty darn good as its my first Hi-Rez sample.  The lpcm track sounds better than the dts track.

Okay, now that I managed to stomach Alanis Morrissette, I liked the newer songs like Citizen of the Planet & Numb. What does Hi-Rez sound like?

Well the sound was so transparent, like being at the venue. In fact after watching this concert video, I played another concert video which I thought was one of my better recordings and it just sound pale in comparison. Sorta of like going from watching 480i to 1080p resolution, it'll spoil you for anything other than Hi-Rez.
