Where did this panasonic receiver come from?

If this has been mentioned plenty in the past, just mention, but I'd never heard of the Panasonic SA-HE200K until now, and it appears to be a digital amplifier as well....but in a much larger chassis (more mod friendly?), available at $288, support for 24/192 on 2 channel, 'multi-source re-master', dynamic range of 122db and marketing speak that states "unlike panasonic's conventoinal receivers which use input volume to "squeeze" the audio signal before amplification, the SAHE200k HQ Sound Mode uses a system that varies the actual gain of the amplifier.  This helps provide clear reproduction of the re-mastered music signal for more subtle imaging when listening at regular volume levels."

I didn't see it listed here:
http://catalog2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ModelList?storeId=11251&catalogId=11005&catGroupId=11135

Is this a digital amplifier?

Not digital, according to this website:

http://www.videodirect.com/panasonic/receivers/compare.html

I'll defer to those more knowledgeable, though, if I'm mistaken.

That site looks to contain a fair number of errors.  This looks like somebody cut & pasted the SA-XR70 specs in for the HE200.

In the large picture you can see a "MOSFET" label which I believe will tell you this not a digital amp.
