Floorstanding Speakers for Bryston SST2 Amps

To drive any floorstanding speakers, does not matter what brand or model, I would get a pair of 28 or 7B SST2 and I would not look back.
IF you do not, one day you will if your plan is to get the most out of your speakers.

Sold the RS1B's and now have Genesis 2's. Truly a classic speaker with tremendous dynamic response. This is a 4 column system. Sorry I did not take any photo's of the bass towers. Down to 16Hz. 1100 lbs and a sore back after moving them from Florida to Illinois.

4bsst2 with Thiel 3.7 speakers--awesome!. 32 ft pipes come through and the amp pushes the Thiels even lower. Mixtures come through very natural. amazing strings tone . Needs cables with lots of current carrying capacity to accomplish

everything is a few weeks old breaking in nicely.

Just added BDP2 as well.

I have yet to hear any pair of speakers sound bad with the SST2 series. However there are two standouts for me. GTAudio Works and Rockport.

I know they are great amps to build systems around. You can start with a 7b and say, Ok I got a 650 watt amp here what speakers should I use (and know these amps drive all type of speakers with synergy).

...the software seems to be Audiogate, correct? are you using any Korg equipment for recordings (like the MR 2000?)?

14BSST2 s driving PMC BB5is with a crossover in the (Lyngdorf) pre.

Thought that might be overkill but i have seen the clipping light.

On the weekend, I auditioned a pair of PMC Twenty.24 floorstanding speakers powered by a Bryston 4B-SST² amp and was really impressed.

These are extremely well balanced speakers that can go very deep for a 2-way speaker!

I've heard those ( and the .23's too ) - they're really good. Not hard to see ( hear ) why PMC ditched the two-way i-Series once the Twenties hit the market. Better looking, too.
