Battery operated wireless sub? Does such a thing exist suitable for a home system? The thought is to have small units that are very flexibly placed, without the worry of installing new outlets, or tripping over cords. Such a product could be a fun way to play around with a multi sub setup.

While you can get a wireless sub that you only have to plug into 110v and the signal is wireless, a totally battery operated one I'm not aware of and doubt would be feasible. Getting a battery to run a subwoofer amplifier for any period of time at all would either mean very very low power or a very very large battery.
