This is the original High Resolution Technologies MusicStreamer USB DAC. This was the model that got rave reviews when it first came out. It is a 16bit/44.1kHz DAC in an all metal trapezoid-like enclosure that requires no external power since it runs off of the USB bus power. I used it for a few months before upgrading with the MusicStreamer II. The only advantage I had by the upgrade was the ability to upsample FLAC songs to 24/96 but this made no difference in sound to my ears. These are very good and quality DAC's, I need $90 including shipping to the lower 48 states for it.
