This is an excellent DAC. It's designed by Larry Moore (who designed the dB Labs Tranquility DAC as well) and this is Larry's upgraded/latest version. It has the TWIN-REG power supply designed, built, and installed by Larry Moore. The TWIN-REG power supply version of the DAC-41 makes a huge difference over all previous versions.
It does not seem to be as well known, but it is quite the performer. I don't think anyone could be anything but pleased with the bang-for-the-buck performance here. If USB is your main source, than you will be in hi-fi heaven.
