Custom TT
« on: 25 May 2013, 02:22 pm »
This is my latest TT, put together nicely by my son for me. As you can see, it is built upon a DP-1200 chassis. The Infinity Black widow tonearm is wearing a B&O MMC-3 while the Mayware has the mellow Grado Reference Platinum.
Still tweaking the Mayware/Grado to try to get rid of a touch of sibblence(?sp.).

Oh yeah, as you can see, I live in Australia. Not really--don't know how that happened.

Cool looking deck.   :o   Use some kind of reverse gravity?

What's it made of, the brown part?

That would be something we created in our laboratories.  We refer to it as "anti-poop".
Sorry, it is actually laminated birch.
(Gotta figure out how to launch these jpegs right side up)
Anyway, thanks for the compliment.  I have a youtube video of it somewhere if the mods ever get it through the metal detector.

Steve--thank you. How did you do that?  I've wanted to post more pics but am afraid I'll look like a dummy with all my jpegs upside down.

I use this free program called IrfanView which you can get here:

http://download.cnet.com/IrfanView/

and then I just hit Rotate Image Clockwise twice.
I was getting dizzy looking at it...

Your post with the video is here. It's been up for a couple of days.  :thumb:
