Hi all Audio Circle members.
I wonder if one of you Audio Circle members could tell me what is the best LP/CD of Adele?
I would like in a near future to buy one of her LP/CD.
Thanks.

I think the blu ray is the best version.

Adele's 19 and 21 are both excellent.  The Blu-Ray from Royal Albert Hall is also exceptional (includes CD of concert).

Both 19 and 21 are highly regarded but in my opinion, the quality of the recordings don't live up to the content.

Agree 100%. Have both. Have yet to compare CD to LP. LPs are OK  sonically but nothing special.

Hi decal and all Audio Circle members.
Excuse my ignorance, but I have just discovered Adele nice voice.
What do you call the 19 and 21?
Is that different from the Royal Albert Hall recording?
May I ask you what would you recommend?
I am looking for a great recording to give justice to her nice voice.
LP or CD or BluRay.

Hi Charles rollo and all Audio Circle members.
I am waiting for decal to explain to me the difference between the 19 and 21 and what are they exactly.
I hope his explanation will make me less ignorant.

Her first album was 19. The second album was 21. It has something to do with her age when writing or putting out the albums.

"19" and "21" are the names of two of her albums.

I have 21 and really like her voice

Hi WC and all Audio Circle members.
Thanks, I was not sure, but I taught it had something to do with her age.

Hi JP and all Audio Circle members.
I have to trust you with this,

Hi lapsan and all Audio Circle members.
When it's a great song and when the sound is great
or when you love the song and/or the voice,
you more or less forget about the quality of the recording.
Right ?
I will just buy a CD of Adele and will enjoy.
I should have thought about that in the first place
and when I started this topic.
(Stupid me, again...)

I like the recordings on 21 better than 19 but the songs on 19 better than 21.  On 19 the recordings have a great very tight center sound stage but nothing much laterally.  21 is recorded in a much more open sounding manner, there is a lot wider sound stage and the instruments are better placed in space.  The LP for 21 on 180 gram vinyl is my favorite of the 4.
