Yea Mark, c'mon......

I've got a sawzall, but only coarse wood blades.
I've all but burnt through the grinder blade and need a new one, so I think I'll take your advise and try a metal blade for the sawzall.
Good idea, I'm embarrassed to have not thought about using that tool.
After cutting a few beams, it seems fate had chosen THIS to be a good time to quit for the day.

While cutting a beam, the blade had settled in to a nice smooth slice when I apparently allowed the "ease" of that particular cut to let me allow my grip to relax.
That's when the blade bound up, the grinder jumped out of my hands, flipped around, and the blade went across my chest.
Yea....I think it's time for a beer and listen to some tunes. Tomorrow when the hardware stores are open, I'll get a blade for the sawzall.
Just wait til wifey gets home.
I am glad this wasn't several inches higher. Right across the face. No. Just....no.
