Push came to shove and I have to let something go from my collection. I love this preamp.
It is an easy 8/10 condition due to age. It is all black and functions perfectly. I even had it checked out by a qualified tech about a year ago, just to give it a check-up as I am not the original owner and I believe it is 8-9 years old. It was $30 well spent for peace of mind. I never planned to sell it as I believe it is one of the best tube preamps money can buy before getting really spendy. It is point to point wired, uses excellent parts, and has a direct coupled output. This thing is detailed and dynamic, yet natural and full of life.
It comes with the stock Chinese 6SN7's and a set of Sylvania 6SN7's. I also have 4 rectifier tubes, including a Mullard which I believe is the best of the bunch. I am unsure of total hours on the tubes, but I did not put many on them at all. In fact this preamp has sat idle much more than I care to admit.
I'd like to get around $800 for everything, but I'll entertain reasonable offers. Might even consider partial trades. I love this hobby and like trying out new things, which is pretty much the entire reason I'm letting this go......though I'll likely regret it later.
