I just heard her on NPR radio today, remarkable is all I can say.  Her debut album is "Sing to the Moon", she'll be in NY Monday May, 20th, and she defies all classification.  One song is R&B, another is world music, another is blues, the next one you're not sure how to classify, every cut is a new experience.  Here's the title song.

No worries, mate. It was pretty much crickets when I posted that (except for some dudes remarking on her strange name  ), so it's cool to know that others are digging.

To me, it's a little like the first James Blake album; not super coherent as an album, but SOMETHING's going on there - an original sound.

I saw the earlier neekomax thread too. I just forgot to comment. I heard her album on NPR earlier. This YT live video is great. Yes, I like her sound.
