The focus will be on DIY speakers but you're welcome to bring your own speakers (commercial or DIY). Everyone is welcome whether you like to build your own stuff or just like to listen. That sounds interesting. I bought my speakers as a kit and modified them. I would be happy to see how they measure. Can you produce waterfall plots?Bruno

Can you produce waterfall plots?BrunoThe version I have of Clio doesn't have waterfall plots. I once thought that it was something I needed but after using the system for about four years I haven't missed it. There are other ways to look for energy storage or ringing. You can look at the impulse response and 2nd/3rd harmonics to get an idea of possible problems with a driver. What speakers do you have?
My speakers are VMPS 626R. I am interested in waterfall plots because it could be a useful tool to choose the best stuffing for the subenclosure behind the mid panel.Bruno
Rick:Sounds fun! Good luck getting any of the NC guys from AC to go. I tried getting them together for a meet with a very well known designer from Canada, and that didn't seem to peak anyone's insterest except for maybe one person.B
Who was the designer?
I'm new to Audiocircle, and am interested in the DIY event. Live in RTP area, so it would be in my backyard.
