I saw Slayer in 1986 at the Living Room in Providence, RI during the Raining Blood tour.

After fighting to not loses his right arm from a flesh eating disease, suspected to have come from a spider bite... Sad.

And its "Reign In Blood." Have seen it wrong in a couple articles too.

I know that the album is called "Reign in Blood". The title track to the album is "Raining Blood". The t-shirt that I bought at the show said "Raining Blood World Tour" 1986 on the back. I was up near the front row at the concert. The Living Room was a very small venue. Back when I saw them they were almost unkown. Most kids in my high school had never heard of them. Over Kill were the opening act. Both bands were awesome.

Appears you are right about the Tour name. I had read an article earlier where the reporter said it was the album.
It was Slayer, Overkill AND Testament around my parts. Might of bee a year or so later though. Crazy it was!

RIP. Seemed like a really nice guy. And like the music or not, he was a gifted pioneer in his genre. There's a reason "Slaaayer!" has been a meme for decades, and he was part of it.

Damn, what a loss. Hanneman written "Angel of Death," "South of Heaven," and "Raining Blood" (among many others) were not only some of the greatest Slayer songs, but some of the greatest songs in all of metal.

Saw them at Hammerjacks in Baltimore (now the Raven's parking lot

) when I think they were promoting the Seasons in the Abyss album ('89 / '90). One of the best (and loudest) concerts I've ever been to.

Gone but not forgotten. SLAAAAAAAAAAAAAYER!!!!!!!!!
