Bryston BDP1 and wireless connection
« on: 1 May 2013, 12:38 pm »
I am looking at purchasing the fantastic BDP-1 (brilliant thinking out of the box James).
I would like to hook up wirelessly because of the placement in my listening/living room.

What wireless device has worked for owners?
I don't know how you would run a set up disk with some of these adapters as the BDP1 is not a computer with a monitor per se so that confuses me.

Thanks, Bill

Hi Bill,

I have been using the NETGEAR Universal WiFi Internet Adapter (WNCE2001) with my BDP-1 and it works perfectly.  I also use on on my TV.  These devices are set up by hooking them up to your computer to configure them to work on your network.  It is very simple to do, basically just inputting your PassKey code for your network.  Once configured you attach it to whatever you want on your network, i.e. the BDP.   The NETGEAR adapter is available on Amazon.com for $45.00.
