Bryston Repair Service
« on: 1 May 2013, 02:28 am »
What happened? I was surprised when one of the channel of my 9Bsst went dead a few weeks back but oh well!  these things happen. Having read so many positive experiences regarding Bryston's service that I began the process of getting the amp back to Bryston for repair. I had 2 issues actually. One dead channel and a speaker terminal was stripped (different channel) making it hard to tighten so I wrote it all down as per Bryston procedures...RA form/number and everything else that goes with it. I even put a red dot in the offending terminal post. Once the amp came back in a little over a week all channels worked but the terminal post was not even looked at. I did inquired if it was warranty work and was told it was and that perhaps the tech did not receive the RA paperwork and that was it. I guess I'm expected to live with it, which I am.

Yes, small issue, really small some would say but is the small stuff that hurts you.

Sorry for the rant.

Rafael.
