June 14: Tommy Castro and the Painkillers (blues) if I lived in the area. Great name  :thumb: they sound pretty good too.

Go see Red Baraat.  They are a party in a bottle.  Nothing but drums and brass, with a Pakhastani twist.  A friend called them "the Dirty Dozen Brass Band meets the Taliban".

No, seriously, you'll have a fun time -- go see them.

P.S. James Hunter is a slice of some fine old-school R&B.

I haven't lived in Pittsburgh since college. Brings back the memories.

Based on what music I like the most I would see the following bands:

June 7: Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros (indie-rock)
June 9: Bob Mould (alternative rock)
June 12: Glen Hansard (Celtic folk-rock, of the Swell Season)
June 13: Lucius (indie-pop)
June 15: The Airborne Toxic Event (indie-rock)
July 26: Sixpence None the Richer (pop)

Especially since they are free.
