The Troggs ~ Wild ThingFontana, 1966
Spooky Tooth • Spooky Two
Bill, I'm very sorry to hear about your dad.
That's you without a doubt CB, Wild Thing ! Pretty much their best imo, though I like their later stuff as well. You gents & lady enjoy the balance of the weekend. Spring finally got here, temps in the 70s, cut grass & ate weeds today in the sun. Forecast dry till mid-week
Eating weed/s again AD? Have a great one brother!!!
Captain Beyond ~ Sufficiently Breathless
Roy Harper: Sophisticated Beggar
Thanks for jogging my memory on Roy. There was an early 80s collaborationbetween Harper and Jimmy Page that I liked quite a lot. Seems to have fallenbetween the cracks now which is too bad because it was quite good, sort ofa cross between Floyd, accoustic Zep and an organ-less Procol Harum, if youcan imagine such a thing.
... Jimmy Page played guitar on several songs on different albumsRoy Harper released before 1975.The only entire album they made together was this:Roy Harper & Jimmy Page: Whatever happened to Jugula ?... the album's cover art shows an unravelled orange Rizla pack.It was released in the UK in 1985 on Beggars_Banquet recordsunder the No. BEGA 60.Regards Toni
