Nice to know you are still lurking on this thread. I hope you are well and listening to some good music. I think the Kinks Mono Collection is outstanding. If you haven't heard these records, give a listen to case/lang/veirs and The Head and the Heart. I've been listening to the Avett Brothers a lot. Great lyrics and great Americana folk rock.

Thanks, Laura. Been listening to the Kinks mono set. Great packaging (except the book is a bit hokey). "Two Sisters" has been a rediscovered favorite right now. Will check out your recommendations.
Plus, I have a mono-only turntable now with an Ortofon SE Mono. If you listen to Arthur's Shangri-La in stereo, his voice is in only one channel, pretty spooky as the separation is near complete. It was back in the day of maximum separation stereo, unnatural in a way, cool in another way. Anyhow, in mono it's all together now!
