Recently bought the Rhino disc set of 'his' first 5 albums. I'd wager that 9 out of 10 people would not identify that one as Alice Cooper. Very different from his later work. I know so far 3 out 3 didn't, including me. If I hadn't put the disc in the player I wouldn't have known.

You are correct about Pretties For You. If you're expecting to sound like Schools Out or Killer you're in for a disappointment.
I think Chicago Line is terrific album. Some of Mayall's 80's albums were well stinkers IMHO until this release.
