Mainhorse ~ self titled      1971

Patrick Moraz first toured as a solo performer opening for major jazz artists throughout Europe in the mid-1960s. He then formed the group Mainhorse with Jean Ristori in 1968, which released a self-titled album on Polydor.

OK my initial thoughts were that they sounded like Kansas and the lead singer like Geedy Lee.
But as I listen it's more hard rock and he sounds less and less like Lee. A lot of times I buy $1 LP's
only to be disappointed. This is not one of those times.

Mainhorse at $3 and Medusa at $1 are both winners in Pumpkinland

If you should come across "Two Yanks In England" pick it up  :thumb:

Quote
Two Yanks in England is an album by The Everly Brothers, released in 1966.
The backing band on most of the recordings is actually The Hollies and eight of the twelve songs featured are credited to L. Ransford, The Hollies' Allan Clarke, Tony Hicks, and Graham Nash songwriting pseudonym. Jimmy Page is also purported to play on the record as a session musician. Two singles were released from the album; "Somebody Help Me" b/w "Hard Hard Year" in late 1966 and "Fifi the Flea" b/w "Like Every Time Before" in early 1967.

New Cactus Band ~ Son Of Cactus

Quote
The New Cactus Band, led by Duane Hitchings, released one album (Son Of Cactus) and featured none of the original Cactus members. Mike Pinera, formerly of Blues Image and Iron Butterfly, came in on guitar, along with Roland Robinson on bass and Jerry Norris on drums. The band then toured live in the Midwest and on the East Coast in mid 1973 with Captain Beyond drummer Bobby Caldwell and former Gregg Allman bass player Charlie Souza.
