How much power do a 14BSST2 use at idle?

also is it overkill for focus audio FS-788 speakers :duh:

is a 20 amp outlet ok for power :scratch:

what is a used price range 5-6-7k

the manual on the Bryston website says:

POWER CONSUMPTION & HEAT LOAD

At Idle 215 Watts
At 600W 8ohms 1284 Watts
At 900W 4ohms 1980 Watts

Presumably those power consumption figures are per channel?

Seems a lot but half seems very little!

A 20 Amp circuit can handle 2400 Watts continuously,  that's 3 hours or more.
A circuit's design load should be 80 % or less of it's rated load.
Unless you listen to full volume test tones, an amp only use's a fraction of it's rated consumption. (while playing music or movies)
