Dynaco ST-70 FS
« on: 29 Apr 2013, 02:19 pm »
This Dynaco ST-70 has been gone through. I replaced the power supply can capacitor, all coupling caps with orange drop style caps from Tube Depot, replaced the worn out Domino caps, and looked over the wiring. It is in good condition for it's age and is complete with bottom cover and cage. I have installed a new Sovtek GZ34, JJ KT-77s, but the 7199s are old stock that were there when I got the amp. The original owner "upgraded" the power cord to an earth ground type cord. I will include a "cheater" plug in case the earth ground causes loop issues in your system. It is a quiet amp and sounds very nice. I just simply do not need another 35WPC tube amp. Serious offers and inquiries only. You can take it for a test drive if you like and live in DFW.

I could even meet you at Lone Star Audio Fest this Saturday if it makes it more convenient.

The power tube sockets could use a tensioning, but it is simple to do, and I will leave that to the buyer.

Asking $500 and I will split shipping.

Thanks,

Blair

A classic!

A timeless amp that matched with a pair of AR3ax's or otherwise, will put a smile on even the crankiest of faces!

Thanks Guys!

It really is a nice sounding amp. I'm just in need of more overhead, so I'm building a 200W pair of tube amps.

I may mention that, if you have question, they need to be PM'd. I do not get topic reply notifications here for some reason.

Thanks!
