..anyway today I tried to lower the supply voltage: at 200 volts internal BDP-2 hiss is not more audible, but from about 205 to upper returns a thin "whistle"; really it's not too much trouble, You can notice it when there is silence...or get closer to the player, but I wanted understand if this (after time) can give problems.  P.S. At my home usual voltage is 225/230 volts.

Hi Roberto,

So there is no hiss while the BDP-2 is on, only when it's in standby mode?

Cheers
Chris

Yes Chris, only in standby; at the same time the led turns red, it starts hissing, however I repeat: You don't  think about a loud noise, it's only a keen zing, but sometimes is a so high frequency that You can listen it.

Hi Roberto;

This sounds like something we should probably look at.  Can you please e-mail me your serial # and address, to mike@bryston.com?

Thanks,

Mike
