I have a pair of Eminence Beta 12LTA drivers I used in my DIY OB speakers. I've owned these about 8 months.
I removed the dust caps and added wood phase plugs to helps smooth out the high end. The work is very easy to do and it looks professional, no tears/scrapes/nicks/etc.
