Working on a new music review site
« on: 19 Apr 2013, 02:02 pm »
Hey guys/gals

I have started a new review site devoted to my journey of getting into Vinyl. www.newrecordday.com is all about my wife and I spending the time to listen and review any of the new records we are listening to as well as any gear I can afford to get my hands on. I am not making money or asking for compensation for anything, this is all just for my own enjoyment and thought I would see if anyone is interested in following my little journey. You can check us out at www.newrecordday.com or my facebook fan page here www.facebook.com/NewRecordDay

I hope this is appropriate to post, like I said, this is all just for my own hobby and have no desire for any financial gain.

Thanks!

Ron

appreciate the link and nice timing with Saturday being record store day.  Plan to search out some new vinyl for my collection and even though they were way overplayed in the 70's may have to find Boston's first as it just seems appropriate for a spin this weekend.

Opeth's concert last night - "Awesome!!!"  Best live performance I've heard to date.  Audio tech could have been better but wow!

Up early for the  Decware Zen Head,  et al... can't get enough.  Beyer T1's are worth all the praise.  Grado RS1i compete quite nicely.

Took a brief look. Looks great! (I'm sure a lot of people could use your help on their websites!)

As for the '63 Dylan, don't let the year fool you. If you can check out Poll Winners Three (mainstream jazz) there was excellent sound in 1960. (Though not necessarily up to modern recordings.)
