For Sale: used VPI MK III platter and bearing (actually 2 bearings, one @ 1 year old)

I have recently upgraded platters and have this extroadinary MK III platter and bearing available to someone who might want to upgrade their scout from the acrylic platter or who wants the basis for a great DIY table. This is the original black VPI MK III platter that many feel has more life to it than the MK IV platter and bearing which could sound over-damped sometimes.

I actually have 2 bearings to send to you, one original and one replacement that was purchased from VPI about a year ago.

Asking $225 OBO

Yes, I picked up the new caramic VPI Classic platter. It does all those things you would expect from the upgrade
- better speed stability
- blacker background
- better dynamics
- more detail
