Do I need to use wx2 crossover

Do I need to use wx2 crossover

I have 2 vandersteen  subs with my 2ce's...do I need to use the wx2 or can I just go from amp to preamp ?

Which subs do you have?  Are they speaker (2Q) or line (2W) level?

If they are the Qs then you need the crossover.  Otherwise, all the low bass information will be sent to the 2CEs.  That's my understanding of what the crossover is doing.

I should have said 2W(q) or V2W.  It sounds like they good hooked via speaker level which means you should use the crossover.

I have 2ce's, a 2w sub and vcc-1. I use the crossover and the bass couldn't be smoother!! Enjoy!
