Danny an excellent alternative to surgery that works really well, and your orthopedist will not mention to you is prolotherapy/Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy.  Find someone who does that, go see them and get it all fixed up.  It is a much better/safer/faster bet than surgery if you do not have a complete tear of a tendon/ligament.  PM me if you want to know more.

Sorry to here about your injury. I hope it's not a torn rotary cuff, those can take years to heal and then are never 100%, for me anyway. I've torn my left one once and my right one twice from snow skiing. Cortisone shots are your friend for sure. Take it easy and get better Danny.

12:00 Wed. That was the fastest that I could get in.

In the meantime, a couple of muscle relaxers and shots of Johnny Walker Black

Aaah! You're young and will heal quickly. But it should serve as a warning that you won't be young forever. As Jonathan Winters used to say, "Death is nature's way of saying, 'slow down.'"

Good luck with the MRI.

What a bummer.   Hope you get well soon.  I gave up mountain biking after hurting my shoulder on a spectacular endo.  Having to take a few months off my golf game really sucked.  Now I stick to running and road biking on trails so as not to disturb my golf, which like audio is a necessity in my life.   :|

Hoping for good diagnosis tomorrow......

Sorry fellows, Meds took me out after about 4:00.

I appreciate that, but wouldn't want you to have to come from so far.

Hey, you just had shoulder surgery in the last year. You maybe just who I need to talk to.

I am typing one handed again and it is slow going.

Yesterday in my first soccer game I was taken down hard from behind by the goal keeper. He hit me hard enough to knock my feet head high. I landed hard on my shoulder.

The good news is that the X-rays showed no broken bones. The bad news is that the damage is in the joint or ligaments. If I move wrong there are serious clunking noises and pops in the joint.

Pain level is a 1 or 2 if I am not moving and the shoulder is still. Pain level if I move wrong or in any way flex muscles in the shoulder is an 8 or a 9. Sometimes it feels like I am being stabbed.

Now I need to get in to see a surgeon and get a MRI.

Hey weekend warrior, it maybe time to play Golf. I played semi pro ball until 40 and then drew the line in the sand. A tough decision but a good one. Feel better and get well soon.
